Hairdressing/Beautician/Massage

A hairdresser/beautician visits Joseph Banks Aged Care Facility each week.

Massage therapy is available on site by appointment.

Personal Care Staff

Joseph Banks Aged Care Facility provides 24 hour personal care assistance.

Care staff are Certificate III and Certificate IV qualified and undertake ongoing clinical care competency based training.

A clinical nurse co-ordinates resident clinical care. External services visit the facility at the request of staff as required.

Allied Health

A physiotherapist, occupational therapist and podiatrist visit the facility weekly. All residents are assessed on admission, and thereafter annually or as required.

Meals

Meals are prepared and cooked on the premises. We cater for special diets and personal preferences.

Telephone

All rooms have telephone services with personal telephone numbers and can recieve internal and external calls.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome at the facility at all times.

Shopping

Fortnightly outings to local shopping centres are facilitated by staff for residents wanting to do some personal shopping. Red Cross volunteers are available to assist residents with personal shopping as required.
