Fees and Charges
|
Daily bed fees are the resident’s contribution to their daily living
costs, such as nursing and personal care, living expenses, meals, linen and laundry,
as well as heating and cooling.
Most residents will pay a combination of several
fees and charges.
Fees are calculated and regulated by the federal government.
The
process begins with the lodgment of an asset declaration form by the prospective
resident with either Centrelink or DVA. A financial status certificate will be issued
to the prospective resident and this certificate is made available to the care provider.
These rates are applicable as at 20 September 2006: |
